Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) Status Update for 2016
ADEQ is in the process of preparing a draft 2016 Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) to succeed ADEQ’s Non-Mining MSGP (Permit No. AZMGSG2010-002) and Mining MSGP (Permit No. AZMGSG2010-003) that became effective on February 1, 2011. The 2011 Non-Mining and Mining MSGPs have been administratively continued as of January 31, 2016. The current 2011 MSGPs will remain in force and effect until the new general permit is issued. Eligible new stormwater dischargers may obtain coverage under the administratively continued 2011 MSGP by submitting a paper copy of the Notice of Intent (NOI) Form with an original signature or by submitting the NOI electronically using ADEQ’s SMART NOI. Go to http://www.azdeq.gov/environ/water/permits/msgp.html for more information. Contact GEOS Environmental ([email protected]) if you have any questions regarding stormwater permitting requirements or for preparation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.
