of Professional Geologists. His many years of experience in contaminated site assessment and cleanup have led to opportunities
with petroleum storage tank owners in the state of Florida. GEOS is
a Florida-licensed Geology Business (Lic. No. GB622) and maintains the necessary licensure, insurance, and safety requirements
to be qualified as a state environmental contractor with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Contractor

News... GEOS President active
in promoting geologists importance to the Florida economy Joseph Fuhr, P.G., GEOS President and Founder, was an active participant
in the Florida Association of Professional Geologists(FAPG, the Florida section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists) Legislative Day at the Capital. Joe is currently the President-Elect of FAPG/AIPG. Held on March 15, 2010, the annual Legislative
Day helps further awareness by our state legislators of geologists' important role in Florida. Joe has participated in
this event for the past several years. Contract awarded for work in Alabama, Georgia GEOS recently received approval to conduct stormwater compliance work for sites in Alabama and Georgia.
The work will include developing stormwater sampling and analytical programs in accordance with ADEM requirements. GEOS named FDEP-Qualified Environmental Contractor GEOS officially gained certification in Florida as a State-Qualified environmental contractor
(Contractor ID No. 1320). With this certification, GEOS can now work directly on client sites eligible for funding in any
of the DEP petroleum cleanup programs.
