Compliance and the Trucking Industry" on May 3, 2012.
GEOS attends
February 2012 U.S. Coral Reef National Task Force Conference... GEOS Environmental attended
the 27th U.S. Coral Reef Task Force Meeting, held at the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C. on
February 23, 2012. Among topics discussed, including watershed protection, reef restoration, etc. was an update on the
petition to NOAA to list up to 82 Atlantic, Caribbean, and Pacific coral species on the Endangered Species List.
GEOS successfully completes NOAA Project... GEOS Environmental, Inc. recently completed a project performed in conjunction with the National Oceanic
and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to develop an historic inventory of Atlantic acroporid corals in Puerto Rico and
the U.S. Virgin Islands. Data gathered and compiled by GEOS will enable NOAA to make current acroporid data
available on-line, and is needed to support coral recovery priorities impacted by fishing, recreational, and coastal
development policies.
