We are registered with CCR, and are interested in joint venture/teaming opportunities on government contracts. GEOS is an FDEP-approved qualified contractor (CID 1320).

Founded in 2009, GEOS Environmental, Inc., is rapidly establishing itself as a leading provider of environmental, compliance, and professional services in the Southeastern U.S. The firm was founded by Mr. Joseph M. Fuhr, P.G. Joe is a licensed/registered Professional Geologist in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, and currently serves as President of the Florida Association of Professional Geologists.
GEOS is a Florida-licensed Geology Business (Lic. No. GB622) and maintains the necessary licensure, insurance, and safety requirements to be qualified as a state environmental contractor with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Contractor ID 1320).

American Institute of Professional Geologists - Annual Conference Sept. 11-15, 2010... Joe Fuhr, P.G., President of GEOS Environmental, will be attending the 47th Annual AIPG Conference this September, in Orlando, Florida. Joe is the President of the Florida Association of Professional Geologists, which is the Florida section of AIPG. The conference website link is located at www.aipg.org.

Upcoming GEOS Projects... GEOS Environmental recently received approval to initiate site remediation at a petroleum contaminated site located in Tampa... Geos is now managing stormwater sample collection, data analysis, and regulatory reporting for several sites located in North Carolina, Indiana, Pennsylvania, California, Alabama, and Louisiana...

SPCC Extension proposed by EPA... In July 2010, EPA proposed to amend the date by which certain facilities must prepare or amend Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and implement those Plans. The proposed date, November 10, 2011, is one year from the current SPCC compliance date of November 10, 2010.
